Chatham, NJ
The Florham Park Pride teams 1 and 2 arrived to yesterday’s U9 Girls futsal tournament with confidence and excitement. Their
competition, Chatham Lightning and Lenape Valley Impact put up a good
fight, but it was the Randolph Rockets who took them by surprise. The
Pride 1 fired on all cylinders, aiming to clinch the tournament with
their 3-1 record, and although the girls’ fight was mighty, the Rockets
won their last game against Lenape Valley to give them a 4-0 record. The
Rockets left as winners of the tournament.
All
U9 teams played their hearts out in this new and unconventional style
of soccer, excited to play again in the next tournament. Congratulations to all teams who participated.
Next U9 Girls tournaments: Jan. 6, futsal, Chatham & Jan. 27, turf, Morris Plains
